Can't connect to discord

Been a member for a few months now. I tried joining discord before but it wouldn't let me because I had yet to purchase any products. Now that I have, I click on the link and it says "I am already a member of this community". But when I open my discord I don't see the channel on the left hand side. I was wondering if there are other link invites I could use because the one provided above keeps saying that I'm already a part of the community which I am not when I open discord. Any help would be great!

Nvm found the solution and will keep this thread open for other people who has or will have this issue.

Go to account settings>Scroll down to discord on left hand side>Sign out then sign back in.
